Workshop Schedule and Prices
Jennifer will be teaching workshops on Friday evening, Saturday Afternoon and Sunday Evening.
Jennifer has taught with tango masters Alex Krebs and Robin Thomas and most recently partnered with Damian Lobato of Buenos Aires. She is visiting San Diego on her own. She has toured teaching in North America and Europe. She combines this experience with her enthusiastic exuberance for tango, creating a fun and unique atmosphere in her classes, where learning is fun and easy.
All workshops will start out at an easy intermediate level, and will progressively get more difficult. You are guaranteed to find some material easy, most challenging, and at least something almost impossibly hard.

Mixed Styles: As a dance couple, we do many "moves" that are considered traditional, but sometimes in an untraditional way to the music. This class takes away the distinct labels of "Traditional" and "Nuevo," and combines them into a new way of dance Jennifer calls nuevo milonguero.

- Follower's Technique: 1:00pm This class will focus on subtle details, as well as provide a few key ideas for "pretty feet." Expect work on extensions, pivoting, balance, posture, and turns. Follower's technique applies to leaders' movements as well (think sacadas), so this class is great for leaders too.
- Taking Musicality One Step Further: 2:30pm This class will take a simple element that you already know and analyze where you can change the typical timing (sounds simple, but it's not!).
- Ultimate Improvisation: 4:00pm Mastering the ability to improvise is an essential skill in tango. But how does one go about learning how to improvise? In this class, we will investigate the structure of the dance so that you will leave with the tools necessary to truly improvise.

Cost: individual workshop: $20 each. $50 for all 3 paid in advance
